Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital in Needham, MA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team. You will provide sterile instruments, organize supplies, and assist circulating nurses, working 10-hour shifts with short-call requirements.

Minimum qualifications include a Surgical Technologist certificate or eligible equivalent (Army/Navy/US Public Health Service training accepted). One year of surgical tech experience is preferred, pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• A certificate from a Surgical Technologist program OR Individuals employed as surgical technologists in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013, OR Individuals who have completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service.

Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time hires with over 1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not worked here in the past 2 years).
