Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL, seeks a Surgical Technologist for full-time or part-time hours, with a 7:00am-3:30pm schedule and on-call rotation. The role involves scrubbing during intraoperative procedures and assisting with instrument prep, counts, dressings, and patient movement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program or minimum 3 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Current CPR certification; CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub duties during intraoperative phase of surgical procedures.
• Assist in preparation and dispensing of instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Conduct all instrument, needle, sharps and sponge counts, and handle specimens.
• Assist in dressings or casts and moving patients.
• Assist in decontamination/reprocessing area and maintain OR inventory.
