Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons and nurses during operations, ensure clean equipment between cases, and manage instrument trays and specialty tools. The role requires CST certification, CPR, and the ability to work as part of a healthcare team across pediatric to geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of accredited Surgical Technology Program
• NBSTSA certification required
• Minimum 2 years experience or formal internship in Surgical Technology
• CPR certification required; ability to work with healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical operations
• Perform routine, technical, and related duties in the operating room
• Clean, process, and decontaminate equipment for turnover between cases
• Manage tray inventory and maintenance of specialty instruments; assist MD requests
