Mercy is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Operating Room team. You will be responsible for providing surgical instruments to the surgical team and coordinating care with other members of the team, while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
Minimum qualifications include a High-School Diploma or GED; state licensure in Surgical Technology; and BLS. Non-licensed applicants with relevant experience may be considered for other locations. English proficiency is required.

Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. New Grads/Complex/Routine
High-School Diploma or GED is required. You may be asked to provide proof of education.
Surgical Technology License required for the state of practice. Non-licensed/certified Surgical Technologists with acceptable experience may be considered for other locations.
Non-certified applicants may be considered for this position with acceptable surgical technology experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
Successful completion of a Postsecondary certificate or associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited surgical technology program.
Surgical Technology Certification preferred.
