Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team in Rogers, Arkansas. In this role, you will provide surgical instruments to the team, coordinate patient care with colleagues, and uphold Mercy's standards and confidentiality.

Minimum qualifications include a High-Screen Diploma or GED, and licensure in Surgical Technology; BLS is required. Non-licensed or uncertified applicants may be considered in some locations based on experience. Proficiency in English is essential.

Position Details:

Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. • Minimum Qualifications (Level II): New Grads/Complex/Routine
• Education: High-Screen Diploma or GED is required. You may be asked to provide proof of education.
• Licensure: Surgical Technology License required for the state of practice. Non-licensed/certified Surgical Technologists with acceptable experience may be considered for other locations.
• Experience: Non-certified applicants may be considered for this position with acceptable surgical technology experience.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Other: Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
• Preferred Education: Successful completion of a Postsecondary certificate or associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Preferred Licensure - Certification: Surgical Technology Certification preferred.
