Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team in a busy, high-tech environment.

Under direct supervision of the RN or physician, you will assist in the Surgical Suite, participate in rotations, and meet weekend/holiday requirements. Active certification and completion of an accredited program are required, with sign-on bonuses and structured commitment options.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.
• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists.
• Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by NBSTSA or other recognized credentialing organization.

Short Description

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

Experience Required

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred

Education Requirements

• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists

License/Certification Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting ( NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT - National Center for Competency Testing, etc.)
