Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ, seeks a trained Surgical Technologist to assist in the Surgical Suite under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or physician. The role supports specific service areas and contributes to a fast-paced, high-tech operating environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program, NBSTSA certification or equivalent, and flexibility for 6:30 AM–7 PM shifts with weekend/holiday rotations.

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.Overview

• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists

License/Certification Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing, etc.)

Special Requirements

• 6:30A-7P
• Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required
• Must annually complete 15 hours of continuing education to remain qualified to practice as a Surgical Technologist in NJ.

Two Year Commitment

• $4,000 for Full Time
• $2,000 for Part Time

One Year Commitment

• $2,000 for Full Time
