Job summary

COOPER PEDIATRICS in Camden, New Jersey is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to assist in our dynamic surgical environment. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, participating in surgical procedures, contributing to patient care, and supporting operating teams.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, alongside a certification from a recognized body. Attractive sign-on bonuses are offered based on commitment and part-time/full-time status.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.
• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists.
• Certified Surgical Technologist Credential required.

Short Description

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

Experience Required

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred

Education Requirements

• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists

License/Certification Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing, etc.)

Special Requirements

Hours:

• 9A-9:30P
• Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required

SIGN-ON BONUS DETAILS:

Two Year Commitment:

• $4,000 for Full Time
• $2,000 for Part Time

One Year Commitment:

• $2,000 for Full Time
• $1,000 for Part Time
