Responsibilities include adapting to changing procedural needs, staying updated on surgical protocols, and potentially serving as a preceptor. This full-time position requires a background in surgical technology and BLS certification.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.). Not all schools require an associate degree or 1 year of equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience (Clinical rotations count as experience) preferred.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and prepare the surgical suite.
• Intraoperative handling of instruments and maintenance of sterile field.
• Monitor changing conditions during procedures and respond as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
• May serve as a preceptor as needed.
