Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the Operating Room in Biddeford, ME. This full-time, day shift role involves preparing for surgical procedures and supporting staff and students in the OR.

New graduates are welcome, with sign-on bonuses of $3,000 for new grads and up to $15,000 for experienced CSTs. Current MaineHealth employees are not eligible. Base pay and total compensation vary by shift and location.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology required.
• License/Certifications: Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within three months of start date.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all elements are in place for surgical procedures.
• Participates in teaching staff and students.
• Meets criteria for Surgical Technologist I role.
