Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology required.
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within three months of start date or at discretion of Director for MMC.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• One year of experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Surgical Technologist I role.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all necessary elements are in place for surgical procedures.
• Participates in teaching of staff and students.
• Meets criteria for Surgical Technologist I.
