Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Surgical Technologist II at Maine Medical Center (MMCP). The role supports surgical procedures, ensures the necessary setup, and participates in teaching staff and students.

Compensation includes a pay range with bonuses for experienced CSTs and new grads eligibility for sign-on bonuses. Requirements include graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, NBSTSA certification within three months, BLS within 30 days, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology required.
• License/Certifications: Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within three months of start date or at discretion of Director for positions at MMC.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date or must obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all necessary elements are in place for surgical procedures.
• Participates in teaching staff and students and meets criteria for Surgical Technologist I.
