Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification (CST).
• AHA BLS certification.
• LA City Fire Card within 30 days.
• 1+ year of recent acute care experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment.
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control standards.
• Prepare appropriate instruments and supplies based on surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation and support during perioperative care.
• Maintain and monitor surgical equipment and report any issues.
• Complete required documentation, logs, and quality reports.
• Support patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the surgical process.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
