Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a surgical technologist to join the operating room team in Lebanon, NH. The role primarily scrubs and may support circulating duties, maintaining aseptic technique and preparing the OR with specialized equipment.

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an approved surgical technology program, hold CST and BLS credentials, and be eligible for NH Medical Technician or Temporary Medical Technician licensure. Shifts are rotating with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Maintains aseptic technique while providing a quiet environment in the OR suite.
• Shares in OR suite preparation and uses specialized equipment for procedures.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon to expedite the procedure.
• Utilizes surgical instruments and knowledge of procedural steps.
• Assists in handling surgical specimens.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
