Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Surgical Technologist II for the Orange County operating room. You will set up and maintain a sterile field, anticipate surgical team needs, and assist in patient care across complex procedures.

The role requires 3 years of scrub experience in major/endoscopic cases and a valid BLS cert, with a 3x12 hour shift pattern and on-call weekend coverage at the Irvine facility.

Qualifications

• Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.
• 3 years of experience scrubbing major and/or endoscopic cases in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification.
• Candidates with < 3 years may be considered for Surgical Technologist I with pay range.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready and available.
• Maintain sterile techniques and monitor breaches, reporting issues promptly.
• Care for department equipment, participate in turnover, stocking rooms, and instrument care.
