Advocate Health is hiring a Surgical Technologist for the Oshkosh Surgical Room. The role supports a clean, safe operating environment, performs aseptic preparation, and assists with a range of surgical procedures under supervision.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
• Typically requires 2 years of experience in a Surgical Technologist position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Provides for a clean, safe and efficient area conducive to optimal patient care using aseptic techniques.
• Performs surgical procedures and assists in complex cases as needed.
• Ensures operating room disinfection and safety; sets up and positions equipment for cases.
• Notifies staff of equipment and supply issues and transports patients/equipment as required.
• Maintains specialty carts/equipment and supports staff as a resource.
• Assists with patient positioning and transferring, adhering to safety protocols.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate patient care and collaborates with the care team.
