Job summary

Advocate Health in Oshkosh is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to provide a clean, safe operating room environment and to assist with a variety of procedures. You will prepare instruments, set up rooms, and support the surgical team throughout operations.

The role requires completion of a Surgical Technology program, 2 years' experience, and a strong command of aseptic techniques and patient safety. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and shift coverage as described.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required within 6 months if not already held.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Typically 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and instrument handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize the surgical environment and equipment.
• Assist with complex procedures and act as a resource to the team.
• Move and set up equipment and supplies for each case.
• Ensure patient safety and equipment readiness during procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport as needed.
• Maintain age-appropriate care standards for patients.
