Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist II to support surgeons and nurses in the operating room. You will prepare the OR, assemble routine supplies and equipment, and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.

You may also assist with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the OR. Requirements include an Associate Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology, BLS, and CST/ NBSTA/ TS-C/ NCCT certification.

Competenze

• One year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• Must be certified by CST, NBSTA/TS-C, or NCCT (required)
• Registered CST with Virginia Board of Medicine if residing in Virginia

Mansioni

• Assemble supplies and equipment for operative procedures.
• Provide supplies to the surgical team and maintain aseptic technique.
• Report implanted devices, catheters, drains, and packing to circulator.
• Prepare and perform surgical skin prep as indicated.
• Assist with pre and post procedure cleaning of the operative room.
• Demonstrate knowledge of MIS, laparoscopy, lasers and robotics.
