Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Surgical Technologist to facilitate safe, efficient surgical procedures in a high-demand environment. You will pass instruments, track counts, assist with patient positioning and preparation, and ensure equipment readiness and sterility throughout operations.

The role requires graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, a current BLS certification, and at least one year of experience in a surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Accredited Surgical Technologist program required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required or in process.
• One year of surgical technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pass instruments to physician during surgery.
• Account for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Prepare operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensure good working order of equipment and instruments.
• Maintain compliance with clinical ladder requirements.
