MaineHealth is looking for a full-time Surgical Technologist I in Portland, Maine. This day shift position involves preparing the operating room and assisting surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited School of Surgical Technology and will be required to obtain certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology. We offer a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus and a supportive environment to help you thrive in your career.

Qualifications

• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology required within six months.
• Current BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days.
• Experience as a Surgical Technologist or six months in a scrub role is preferred.

• Pass instruments, sponges, and sutures to surgeons.
