Job summary

MaineHealth's Waldo Hospital in Maine is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the surgeon and OR staff during procedures. This full-time, day shift role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative operating room environment.

Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program, current BCLS, and NBSTSA certification within 6 months. New grads may apply for a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology required.
• Current BCLS and certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required within 6 months of start date.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Positions located in New Hampshire are required to have a NH Med Tech License or NH EMT License with National Registry Certification.

Responsibilities

• The Surgical Technologist assists the surgeon and OR RN during surgical procedures.
