Job summary

UAB Medicine's Perioperative Services team is seeking a Surgical Technologist to scrub and assist the surgical team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment at our Birmingham campuses. You'll work with state-of-the-art operating rooms, contributing to patient care from pre‑op to post‑op in collaboration with surgeons and the perioperative staff.

• Certified upon completion of the Surgical Technologist program or eligible to sit for certification within six months of being hired.

• Prepare and maintain the environment, medical equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Follow hospital regulations and industry procedures regarding patient care.
• Pre-operatively prepare patient and transport to and from the operating room.

Pay range: $20.30 - $33.00 / hour

Shifts: multiple/flexible/rotating

Schedules: 6:30am - 5:00pm, 6:30am - 7:00pm

Job Description
