UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL seeks a Surgical Technologist to support safe, efficient surgical procedures.

You will prepare the operating room, hand instruments to surgeons, assist with patient positioning and draping, and maintain instrument counts to ensure sterility and readiness throughout cases. Qualifikationen

• BLS certification preferred; AHA or ARC accepted.
• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component, or minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's degree or technical degree preferred.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High school diploma equivalency AND completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component OR a minimum of 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Associate's degree or technical degree preferred.
