Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program or equivalent.
• Certified CST or eligible to sit within six months; BLS required within 30 days.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist surgical team during basic procedures.
• Prepare and maintain environment, equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Follow hospital regulations regarding patient care.
• Pre-operatively prepare patient and transport to the operating room as required.
