MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist with the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room under the supervision of an OR RN. Responsibilities include instrument setup and ensuring readiness for procedures.

The role requires completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program, WA registration, CPR certification, and preferred national certification. Previous experience is a plus in a fast-paced OR setting.

Formación

• Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
• National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification
• Previous experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• The Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN.
• The Surgical Technologist has responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Work situations are primarily routine but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, and may require both directed and independent decision-making depending on the nature of the situation.
