Job summary

MultiCare Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist with care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room under the supervision of an OR RN. You will assemble, set up and use surgical instrumentation during procedures.

Requirements include graduation from a CST program or equivalent, WA registration, CPR certification, and preferred national certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
• National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an OR RN.
• Assemble, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during procedures.
• Adapt to routine and emergent situations with directed and independent decision-making as needed.
