Job summary

The Corvallis Clinic in Corvallis, OR is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a team dedicated to safe, aseptic, and efficient surgical care. You will work under a surgeon's supervision to support invasive and non-invasive procedures and ensure the operating room environment maximizes patient safety.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program and current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 1+ years of experience in a Main OR (preferred).
• Multispecialty experience in Orthopedics, GYN, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, or Ophthalmology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate in and uphold The Corvallis Clinic service standards.
• Communicate patient condition information to surgeons, anesthesia, and staff.
• Safely carry out physician orders promptly.
• Assist Anesthesia staff as needed.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff.
• Maintain asepsis, sterile technique, and universal precautions.
• Assess and implement appropriate care throughout surgical processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
