Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology is required.
• Relevant acute care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies surgery to be performed with consent forms and brings patient to the assigned operating room.
• Passes instruments to the surgeon during the procedure and anticipates needs for additional supplies.
• Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization and assists in room turnover.
