Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Madison in Wisconsin is seeking a Regular part-time Surgical Technician to support the Operating Room under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will set up the OR, gather instruments, and assist with cases as needed.

Applicants must have completed an accredited surgical tech program. Weekend on-call shifts are required. No prior experience is required, and the role is on-site within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited surgical tech program.
• No prior experience required.
• BLS/CPR certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in set up of Operating Room for patient care under RN direction.
• Gathers supplies, x-rays, instruments, and equipment for cases.
• Maintains aseptic technique and proper handling of instruments.
