Job summary

Centerpoint Health - Paris is seeking a Surgical Technician (CST) to join our OR team. In a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will assist surgeons, maintain sterile fields, and support patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or eligibility.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and instrumentation.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, including instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs.
• Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies to ensure patient safety.
• Handle, label, and maintain specimens according to protocol.
• Clean, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and operating rooms after procedures.
