Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program with 1 year of experience in OR.
• Must hold BLS certification.
• Visual color acuity screening may be required for certain units.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Handles instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Provides technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff during procedures and turnover.
• Ensures patient safety and quality of care throughout operative events.
• Works across multiple surgical service lines and may care for diverse patient ages.
