Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating rooms in Houston, TX. You will scrub and assist in planned procedures, operate sterilization equipment, and ensure adherence to standards.

The role includes on-call responsibilities and collaboration with surgeons and care teams. The ideal candidate will have formal Surgical Technology training, certification, and BCLS, with preference for 1 year of experience in a surgical setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology for Surgical Technologist role is required.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology.
  • Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans for and scrubs assigned surgical procedures in accordance with AORN, AST, quality, regulatory, and company standards.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of a Surgical Technology for Surgical Technologist role is required.
  • Certification in Surgical Technology.
  • Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.
