Job summary

OSS Health in York, PA is seeking a Surgical Technologist for our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This full-time, on-site role supports the OR team under RN supervision to prepare and execute safe surgical cases.

The position requires a high school diploma, CST preferred, BLS or ability to obtain, and 3+ years of experience in ambulatory or acute care settings; certification timelines apply. Schedule: 6:30am–5:00pm Tue–Fri; 5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Certification as Surgical Technologist preferred; must obtain within 6 months if new graduate.
• BLS certification required or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 3+ years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgical facility or acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check cases with instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment.
• Maintain aseptic technique and set up cases with proper sterile procedure.
• Assist Circulating Nurse with counts and report discrepancies.
• Handle instruments properly to prevent damage and loss; update surgeon preference cards.
• Assist with dressings, patient transfers, and room turnover; support OR float team.
