Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in surgical technology preferred.
• Graduate from a recognized surgical technology program or military training in surgical technology with DD214 documentation.
• Illinois rule allows HS Diploma/GED plus 3 years experience as Surgical Technologist as a substitution.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team by preparing and monitoring equipment, passing instruments, maintaining sterile field, and performing surgical skills and procedures.
• Assist with patient transfer/positioning as needed.

Education

Graduate from a recognized surgical technology program or military training in surgical technology with DD214 for education proof

Illinois: High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years as Surgical Technologist may substitute
