Job summary

CoxHealth Surgery Center in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the perioperative team under RN supervision. You will perform technical and supportive tasks to assist patient care throughout the perioperative phase, following hospital standards and procedures.

Education: graduate from Surgical Technology program or 5 years' experience; hospital experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Preferred: hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Job Description

A member of the CoxHealth Surgery Center team who functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs a variety of technical and supportive functions to assist with the care of the patient throughout their perioperative phase of hospitalization utilizing hospital/departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures.

Education

• Required: Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist

Experience

• Preferred: Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist
