Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Labor and Delivery South unit in Springfield, MO. The role functions under RN supervision, performing a variety of technical tasks to assist with patient care during the perioperative phase.

You will work a night shift (6:30 PM-7:00 AM), 3 times weekly, in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Strong communication and adaptability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist with perioperative patient care under RN supervision.
• Perform technical and supportive tasks to facilitate patient care throughout hospitalization.
• Adhere to hospital/departmental standards, policies, and procedures.

Job Description:

A member of the healthcare team who functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs a variety of technical and supportive functions to assist with the care of the patient throughout their perioperative phase of hospitalization utilizing hospital/departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures.

Education

• Required: Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist

Experience

• Preferred: Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist
