Job summary

CoxHealth’s Cox Surgery Center in Springfield, MO is hiring a Surgical Technologist to support the perioperative team on day shift. You will assist with patient care and procedural tasks under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, following hospital standards and policies.

Requirements include graduation from a Surgical Technology program or 5 years of surgical technologist experience, plus prior hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

A member of the CoxHealth Surgery Center team who functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs a variety of technical and supportive functions to assist with the care of the patient throughout their perioperative phase of hospitalization utilizing hospital/departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures.

Education

• Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist

Experience

• Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist
