Job Details

• Position: Surgical Technologist / CST

• Salary: $28.46 - $53.40/hour

Responsibilities

1. Provide assistance during surgical procedures in the scrub role, demonstrating knowledge and skills.
2. Ensure aseptic techniques, set up equipment and sterile supplies, pull cases, and break down cases.
3. Handle medications responsibly, understanding proper management and storage.
4. Act as a preceptor, resource, and mentor for staff and students.
5. Participate in a variety of surgical services including Neuro, Ortho, CV, Vascular, Plastics, Robotics, General, Spine, Bariatrics, Hybrid OR, GYN, Urology.

Qualifications

1. Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or recognized training course.
2. Preferred: 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist in a full-service OR.
3. Knowledge of age-specific growth, development, and patient care needs.
4. Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
5. Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
