Department Description

The Operating Room of Surgery provides intraoperative care to surgical and procedural sedation patients, serving pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly populations. We collaborate with various provider specialties to care for patients going home the same day or being admitted to the hospital.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon.
• Options include completion of military or federal health service training, accredited surgical technology education, or documented practice experience within specified dates.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• Experience or training in computer applications preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
