Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is hiring a Surgical Technologist for the Evening Shift in our operating room. Earn a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and enjoy Daily Pay options.

This full-time role supports surgeons and nurses by preparing sterile instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring readiness for procedures. Qualifications

• Completion of accredited surgical tech training program.
• NBSTA Certification must be obtained within 1 year of completion of program.
• High School Diploma.
• CPR certification or able to obtain within 60 days.
• 2 years of surgical tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgery.
• Pass instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and handle specimens.
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
• Clean OR post-procedure and prepare tools for sterilization.

Position Summary

As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a key role in the operating room, supporting surgeons and nurses in delivering exceptional care. You’ll prepare sterile instruments, maintain a safe environment, and ensure everything is ready for successful procedures.
