Position: Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room at Aspirus Iron River Hospital
As a surgical technologist, you are responsible for planning and organizing supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. Collaboration with all surgical team members is key to ensure the safe and efficient passage of a patient through surgery. You promote education of yourself, peers, and students.

Aspirus Iron River Hospital and Clinics, with over 300 employees, serves the community through a 25-bed hospital, physician clinics, dialysis center, rehab fitness centers, ambulance service, and home care and hospice. The outpatient practice is located in a stand-alone clinic, allowing providers to work independently with support from the Aspirus healthcare system. The hospital has an average daily census of 9-10 patients.
The hospital and clinics feature up-to-date technology, including a 64-slice CT and a mobile MRI. The medical staff includes family practitioners, internal medicine, general surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, radiologists, emergency medicine physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. Visiting specialists include ophthalmologists, oncologists, cardiologists, ENT specialists, podiatrists, and nephrologists.
