Job description

Join to apply for the Surgical Technologist role at Milford Regional Medical Center.

Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital with 145 beds, providing acute care to a region of 20+ towns. Our Perioperative department supports 8 operating rooms and approximately 7,000 cases annually. Our clinicians are skilled in advanced procedures and technology, providing personalized patient care in a warm environment.

Statement of Purpose: Assists in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Functions as part of the sterile team, donning gown and gloves, maintaining a sterile field, and handing instruments to surgeons.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
2. Current CPR; Surgical Tech Certification preferred or employment as a Surgical Technologist in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013, with successful certification within one year of start date.
3. Surgical Technologist experience preferred.

MRMC Differentials: Hospital differentials include $3.50/hr evenings, $5.00/hr nights, and $2.75/hr weekends. All paid according to hospital policy.
