The Opportunity: Saint Luke's North Hospital of Kansas City MO is seeking a PRN Surgical Technologist to assist with surgical procedures, providing a safe environment in compliance with agency policies and procedures. The Surgical Technologist at Saint Luke's Hospital works within the organizational structure of the Operating Room, assisting in the delivery of direct primary care to patients undergoing surgical interventions.

Position Details: Day shift, minimum of 3 shifts per 6-week period, 1 weekend shift every 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of primary care within the Operating Room during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and team members during surgeries.

Experience:

* Surgical setting experience (CVOR, General, Ortho, ENT, ambulatory surgery center - ASC).

* New graduates of Surgical Technologist Program are welcome to apply.

* Ability to scrub a variety of cases.

* Experience in one of the following areas is a plus:

• Surgical Technologist
• Surg Tech
• Surgical Technician
• Surgical Assistant
• Completion of a Surgical Tech Program
• Scrub Tech
• Operating Room (OR) Tech
• Surgical Assistant
• Ob Tech
• Non-Certified Surgical Tech

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support Certification)
