Job Title: Surgical Technologist at Midwest Vision Partners

Join us to apply for the Surgical Technologist role at Midwest Vision Partners.

Schedule: Mon-Thu, hours vary; occasional Fridays.

Responsibilities

1. Organize equipment, instruments, and supplies for cases based on patient needs and physician preferences.
2. Anticipate the needs of physicians and ensure equipment, instrumentation, medical gases, and supplies are readily available for procedures.
3. Troubleshoot equipment issues and verify all equipment functions properly before use.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of surgical suites, ensuring they are free of soiled equipment and properly stocked.
5. Wear appropriate attire in restricted areas.
6. Demonstrate knowledge of sterile processing standards and safe handling of instrumentation.
7. Assist with inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proof of ID and right to work in the United States.
• Experience working in an operating room.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of hospital operating room experience.
