We are looking for a Surgical Scrub Technologist for our Surgery Center.

Job Summary:

• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Establish and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Report to Clinical Director/Administrator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure sterility of supplies and instruments.
• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment.
• Gather surgical supplies and equipment.
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
• Gown and glove surgeons and assistants.
• Maintain accurate physician preference cards.
• Handle specimens for pathology.
• Transport and clean surgical equipment.
• Interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Participate in training and meetings.
• Communicate courteously with all parties.
• Maintain certifications such as CPR.
• Adhere to the center's mission, policies, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Scrub Technician Program; certification preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and surgical procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and handling objects.
