• Current CST/Certified Surgical Assistant certification required.
• AHA BLS certification.

The role you’ll contribute: The Surgical Technologist III performs technical support in the perioperative period under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following clinical standards of care.

• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures
• Prepares and gowns sterile fields, instruments, supplies, and medications
• Displays knowledge of procedures and patient positioning
• Performs counts with circulator prior to incision and before closure
• Maintains sterile technique during procedures
• Prepares instruments for sterilization and assists with terminal cleaning

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Course
