Job Summary and Qualifications

What will you do in this role:

• Set up and manage instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field while passing instrumentation during procedures
• Perform appropriate counts with circulator prior to incision closure
• Assist in patient positioning, transport, and equipment preparation
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization
• Assist in prepping rooms for the next patient

Qualifications needed:

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or Military Operating Room Specialist Course
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required
• One to two years OR experience preferred
