Job summary

United Pacific Surgery Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join as a PRN, full-time capable team member. The technologist will scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, and prepare supplies and equipment for a variety of surgeries.

The role requires 2 years of scrub tech experience in multiple specialties, with ortho, total joints, urology, gyno, and general procedures preferred. Monday–Friday shifts, no call, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Scrub Technician Program required; Certification preferred.
• 2 years experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech in multiple specialties (ortho, total joints, urology, gyno, general).

Surgical Technologist United Pacific Surgery Center has a full-time opening for a PRN Surgical Technologist. United Pacific Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Must be able to work 1 or more shifts per week. Monday-Friday work schedule NO call required NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours. Starting Hourly Range: $25.00 - $45.00/hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of a Scrub Technician Program required. Certification is preferred. 2 years experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech in multiple specialties. Need experience in ortho, total joints, urology, gyno, and general procedures. Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other skills and abilities

• General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
