Job summary

United Pacific Surgery Center has a full-time opening for a Surgical Technologist. This fast-paced ambulatory surgery center supports multiple specialties and emphasizes high-quality patient care. The Surgical Technologist scrub for procedures, maintain sterile fields, and prepare supplies while supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Starting hourly range is $25.00–$45.00, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program; certification preferred.
• 2+ years experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech in multiple specialties (ortho, total joints, urology, GYN, GI).
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to anatomy and procedures for an OR.
• BLS accreditation by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and functions as a member of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
• Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

United Pacific Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Starting Hourly Range: $25.00 - $45.00/hour, depending on experience

Required Skills:

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program required. Certification is preferred.
• 2+ years experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech in multiple specialties. Need experience in ortho, total joints, urology, GYN, and GI procedures.
• Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other skills and abilities: General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
• BLS accredited by AHA
