The *Surgical Technologist 1* assists in surgical procedures by providing scrub support and demonstrating knowledge of anatomy, patient care, and surgical preparation. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the circulating nurse with patient positioning and operative site preparation.
• Preparing the operating room with sterile supplies and instruments.
• Maintaining an organized sterile field and adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Anticipating the surgeon’s needs during procedures.
• Following infection control policies and reporting any unsafe practices.

*Position Requirements:* High School Diploma or GED required; preferred candidates are graduates of accredited Surgical Technologist programs. Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required within 6 months of hire. BLS certification is also required.
